Benefits of listing on SaaS marketplaces

You usually get a do-follow backlink to your website when you get listed. This can help with your domain authority since most of these sites linking back to you most likely have a 90+ domain authority!

Listing on the Stripe app marketplace got us this juicy backlink

Access to a wider customer base

Getting traffic from these marketplaces can give you access to customers adjacent to your ICP. This gives you more data to work with as you start expanding your marketing methods to reach customers other than your ICP.

We are getting larger, more established business come through our sales pipeline mainly from seeing our listing page on the stripe app marketplace.

Currently, we target small businesses so this was a great surprise for us

Quicker integration with customers

These marketplaces offer one-click integration options with your product, making it easier for customers to adopt. This can speed up onboarding and greatly increase activation rate for prospective customers.

For the stripe app marketplace, they have this “Install from partner” button that helps us integrate quickly with prospective customers

Brand association

One problem I see with new startups is their lack of an established brand. Being associated with well-known SaaS companies can boost your brand's credibility and perception. Getting listed on these marketplaces can speed that process up.

I mean come on, doesn’t this look sick???
